So I am in need of new dishes. I like your idea, but I recommend giving them a little test before using them. Avoid Made in China for this reason. One year dh gave me our tax refund money to go buy pretty yellow plates at Pottery Barn. Bliss! Finally, after 12 or so years of married life, matching plates and bowl and mugs!! And from PB!! <br /><br />turns out, the bowls chip and I now prefer the bowls we bought at target. who knew?
