Zinc is a great think if you're suffering from the common cold!

Just a note from a friendly virologist....zinc will only work if you are sick due to Rhinoviruses. Other viruses can cause a cold, but the zinc will not help it go away. So if you try zinc once and it doesn't work, you had the wrong type of cold and should try it again next time you're sick!

Can't handle these. They make me feel like I'm suckin' on a nickel (great name for a country song, if you're in the market).
However, I do love Emergen-C. Taken at the first sign of a cold, this will knock it right out. Also, it's fizzy and tastes like a little slice of heaven itself.

The other Sarah (weird how that works) above is right about the zinc... I fell asleep with one of these in my mouth once and no kidding I couldn't taste anything (and I mean ANYTHING) for almost two weeks. Trust me - you don't wan that to happen to you!

I love Coldeeze, been using them for years and it's great becuase now they have better flavors! My aunt, who is a teacher, told me about them and who knows better about constantly fighting off sickness than teachers! I have also seen them being sold at Target and Walmart in the pharmacy, so they are pretty easy to get. Glad to hear that they are helping and I hope you feel even better today!!!

WHAT!!! Where was cold-eeze when I was pregnant? All that suffering...... Can you use these when breastfeeding? Because you CAN'T use anything else! (that is if you don't want your milk to dry up anyway)
Well, get feeling better, there is really almost no worse time in life to be feeling miserable than at the end of pregnancy.
