Kami is the same age as my Chief. Two.
I don't know Kami personally, or her family, but I know that two months ago her parents found a lump in her tummy. Turns out, that lump was cancer--a rare cancer on her liver. I can't look at her blog or read her stories without thinking of my own two year old. So when I was asked to help donate to an auction in her honor, I very quickly said yes.
My friends and I put together a "c jane and friends" package with all sorts of cool stuff from cool people and includes one of my books. You can go here and bid on the package if you love it (and I think you will) or browse for other items here. The Pioneer Woman herself has a few signed cookbooks to auction here.
All proceeds go to Kami's family to help with medical expenses.

My dear friend asked me to donate as well (she knows the little girl) and I was THRILLED when I saw that you were also willing to put together a package for her. I thought, "SUCCESS!" And here's hoping there will be...

Aw, she's so precious. So sad to see a little girl with such huge challenges in life. It's always wonderful to see people rallying together to help someone in need. So inspiring!
Our neighbors went through this very same trial with their daughter and she is 2 years cancer free! Will say a prayer for her and her family!
