Welp....
I am not much of a blogger, in fact anything to do with the computer makes me frustrated and very confused. But I do love to type, thanks to Mavis Beacon, so I will enjoy this next half hour of tinkling the ivorys and sometimes erasing things just so I can retype them faster.
When Courtney suggested us Sisters-in-law pitch in for the week to share some of the things we love, I realized how pathetic I am. There aren't many things I am passionate about. I will eat any where and wear anything. So.... after some serious, serious thought, this is what I came up with.
1. Origins mascara, "Fringe Benefits" I have been using it for years and will never change.
2. Mint chocolate truffles. I don't care where they are from, they are always yummy.
3. Loreal infallible lipgloss. The best stuff EVER. You will never spend your money on any other lipgloss again.
4. There's An Alligator Under My Bed, by Mercer Mayer. One of my many favorite children's books. I like to make the crunching sound as the Alligator eats all the food.
5. Suave detangling spray "Double Dutch Apple" There is an octopus trying to jumprope on the bottle, I'm sold. Plus it smells really good in your kids hair that smells like their school lunchroom.
6. Anne of Green Gables, the movie. I just saw it for the first time a few months ago and fell in love. It makes you cry, laugh and want to be a better person. Plus who can resist that hunky Gilbert Blythe!
7. Speaking of double dutch, long recess jump ropes from the jumpropestore.com. You get to pick out the colors and the kids never get tired of jumping while you turn and sing, "Cinderella, dressed in yella..."
8. Vintage tin signs for every holiday at allposters.com. My favorite are the Halloween ones!
I really love Courtney. She always laughs at everything I say, and thinks that I should be on So You Think You Can Dance. I feel really cool after I hang out with her. I have never met anyone who can ask question after question and truly be intrigued by what I am saying, (except her brother). Who doesn't love it when someone is interested in everything that comes out of your mouth? You're the best court!

Anyone who loves Anne of Green Gables earns my respect. The books are the best. I would love to live life like Anne. Great post Lindsay.
I just reread Anne of Green Gables a couple of months ago and loved how it took me back to my girlie days. I loved being transported through her life of mishap and curiosity.
And on another note, I've got to move to where you guys are and start drinking the water. I've never seen such a beautiful family! Every single one of you's! : )
I have been looking for those jump ropes for years and I just bought 3 of them. Thank you so much!
I love you Lindsay and I will try anything you tell me to try. You also didn't mention how you are the world's greatest mother and make it look easy.
I have three daughters, two with curly hair- we go through gsllons of that same detangler. It does smell so good! It saves us every morning from having homeless-looking children!
Lindsay, any octopus who can jumprope deserves my money, too! You're the best!
Oh my goodness... I totally use that same detangling spray. It really does work wonders and smells just as yummy. As a funny side story... just yesterday my husband asked me why I use kid's detangling spray. I had to tell him I don't know if they make an adult version, but even if they do I love this one best!
Lindsey, I loved this post and especially that you love Anne of Green Gables.
Not sure if you remember me but you were in my Ward (Grandview 8th) and I thought that you had the most beautiful family! So glad to see that you are doing well.
I loved this post. You did great! You are adorable too. So is Courtney:)
Great Post! I have to recommend Anne of Avonlea as the follow-up to the Anne of Green Gables movie. It is a must see!!!
I am so happy for you to have seen Anne of Green Gables. I have mixed emotions about people who have never seen it. I am sad for them to have missed out for so long but so happy to be the one to introduce it to them. SUCH A GOOD MOVIE!!
Great recommendations.
Oh my goodness! I love her! I took her hip hop class at gold's for a year or so when I lived in Provo. She is such a doll! And probably the coolest/prettiest girl I have ever seen...It's just a fact.
I am loving your jump rope recommendation -- that is great! I also looked at the vintage signs link -- there are some great ones! thank you so much, you have great taste Lindsay!
Ok, how have you not seen Anne of Green Gables until recently? oh well, I'm glad you're with it now :)
I need to get those movies for my girls!
Lindsay, Lindsay, Lindsay I've found you! Loved your post and seeing your picture. You haven't changed a bit. I've been reading your SIL's blogs for awhile now and love when I see a little snapshot of you and remember our crazy BYU days. Thanks CJane for another glimpse of my long lost roommate that is very hard to track down.
