teenager week: the nikon D40 by lindsay clark

review by my visually-talented niece lindsay clark 16 years old:

I LOVE my camera--the Nikon D40. It is one of my best friends. I got it for my birthday a couple years ago and it is awesome! It takes great pictures and my friends and I love to take funky pictures with it. It is the perfect size and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good camera!

Cool pix. I like the one at the piano. Good angles and nice colors. Lindsay, you seem like a cool kid. Jenny Page

I will forever love this Lindsay girl--she has directed me to a great camera with a reasonable price. Hooray! Now to talk to my husband...

Love the photos, too!

Well, I'm not a teenager, in fact I'm nearly 20 years older than you Lindsay! But I LOVE my D40, too! It's my first 'grown up' camera. I got it last year and am still learning how to use it (it's on automatic mode most of the time!). Maybe you can give us D40 users a few pointers. Your photos are beautiful!!!

Love the one of the Clark boy jumping! I have a Canon, but I'm sure Nikon is lovely, just like your photos!

If I lived in Utah, I would hire you to photograph my family. Nice job, seriously!
