Regarding mothers, I have learned while taking care of my mother with Alzheimer's that she is just a woman, just like I am. She wants to be loved and respected just like I do, and she wants to find happiness in her life, just like I do. I had unfair expectations of her before she came to live with me. I truly regret that, and I feel I missed out on a lot of who my mother is due to my poor attitude. I see now that not all mothers have to be "greeting card" mothers. They are doing the best they can to raise their children well, just like I am.
Regarding the motherload...yowza! I will make a memory pillow from my grandmother's pj's, which I cherish because I have precious memories of her in them. I already bought the sundial dress, so I will give that away to one of the people who compliments me on mine, and we can be triplets wearing our dresses!
(Seems I got confused: you wanted a statement and I wrote an essay! Sorry! :) )
