I bought the Quick as a Cricket per your suggestion and we LOVE it! My mom didn't realize the shark was a hammerhead though, and she thought is was a regular looking shark with a seal in it's mouth and she found that to be quiet disturbing!

Olive Jo was dressed to the nines in a ripe springtime bowtie she purchased at Likely's Fundraiser. With her fancy tote for her camera in hand, Olive Jo snapped a few photos of Audrey reading "Quick as a Cricket" to the Snyder's new baby boy.

did you know that "Quick as a Cricket" was my favorite book to read to my kids? well it was. It was originally sold at "Discover Toys" home parties-discovery toys was a godsend to those of us who at the time were living in very rural nevada (elko to be exact-when it had 8000 people in town) I love this book and would love to read it to my grandbabies
