valentine week day one: basa body

i've got some valentine tricks up my sleeve this week
all of them are cheap ideas to help you
enjoy the holiday.
cheap and (hopefully) creative.

late last year i blogged about basa body
and how i had found comfort in their
simple solution for dry skin: coconut oil.

it's virgin coconut oil
100% organic
and comes from the hard work
of mothers in kenya.

since blogging about it
i have received crazy amounts of feedback
from people thoroughly happy
with their orders.

(just tonight i was at a party where
my friends raved about
how it has helped us in our various needs.
one friend uses her basa coconut oil
for her hair--
i use it on my eyebrows
the possibilities are endless --
endless! i tell you!)

and it must be said,
i am especially proud of this product
because it started with the goodness of my extended family.

there are three main products
the basa body lotion
the basa body stick
and the truffle soaps
and they are all relatively
inexpensive for the quality.

for valentines day
basa body is offering this
luscious little gift pack with
new truffle soaps:
mint chocolate truffle
chocolate covered strawberry
and
oatmeal chocolate chip
for a mere 12.99 in US dollars.

(please note:
while you can safely eat any of these soaps
it is advised to use them mainly for the outer body)

plus, they come all boxed up
--ruffles and ribbon--
ready for your sweet valentine
(which may very well be yourself
why not?)

they usually ship the next day
so you still have time to order
for this sunday's tribute to romance.

learn more about basa body,
shop
and read
the background story
by going here.

*i was not paid for this post.
please.

tomorrow, an inexpensive tip for your valentine's meal dinnerware.

So I must know, what products do you use the most from their line?? What is it that you are using for your eyebrows and for what purpose? I love beauty tips so I'm very curious.

Dude, I love that stuff. And W uses the stick on his face because I told him I liked YOUNG Robert Redford, not current-day Robert Redford.

Yes, I love Basa Body.
I use the body stick as a deodorant and it works surprisingly well, I discovered quite by accident.

I love the soaps and the lotion but the stick is my absolute favorite. It is what my eyebrows prefer indeed.

Deodorant? Who knew?

I ordered mine yesterday! Can't wait to try the stick on my poor daughter's little body, that is covered in eczema.

Just ordered. Can't wait to try it all, especially with my daughter -- she inherited my touchy skin.

Thank you thank you!

Used the stick as deodorant today. Totally worked. Thanks Zoo.
