THANK YOU - what a great feeling to know that if you like something on that site, you can have no matter what your size or what your body decides to do one year!! It's so sad when you see a dress, but *that* dress doesn't come in anything larger than a 12...the ones that do are then less cute anyway.

Can't wait to look!!

okay, I checked out the site and now I'm seriously freaking out. I can't believe how much you can customize!!! The dresses are way cute and the prices are not bad at all - even adding on some of the customization fees. For something that's EXACTLY what you want I think it's a great price!

I shall love you forever for sharing this site with us!!!

Just an FYI, they are constantly sending gift codes once you order with them. I got $15 off a necklace (only paid for shipping) and $20 off a dress and still have more codes to use!

I just checked out several reviews and many people are not wholly satisfied with either construction, fabric quality, and customer service. I think this is a great idea, and I hope the reviews are wrong, but you may want to check out some more info before ordering.

Holy cow! Am I allowed to tell you how much I love you cjane??? I LOVE YOU! Eshakti is a dream come true...thanks for sharing! Next question: Where do you shop for maternity clothes? I’m entering my second trimester and have fallen victim to my husband's side of the closet. Please help!!!

Etsy is a great place to find some custom things- There are really some good sellers, and many that are one person jobs who take each customer personally into consideration.

(not that this place isn't good too... I haven't tried it or anything- Just in case people haven't thought of looking on Etsy for clothes--)

I just got a fancy dress from there. It is amazing. I made it come just below my knee and changed the sleeves to be non-see through. It is awesome...a one of a kind. You can also give them you measurements and they ccan tailer the outfit to your body. Good for girls like me...big chest little waist! And, AFFORDABLE!

Watch for a giveaway coming the beginning of next month on RealMomsRealViews.com SHHHHH!

I spent my morning gabbin' on the phone with my sister dear clickin' away at this site trying to decipher just what happened to be our favorite (which, of course, changed with every new dress!)

I'm even thinking I may have to start sportin' a caftan come Spring!

Thank you for letting us in on this amazing find!

Dear CJane!
your post just made my day!
i dont remember the last time i wore a dress... im 6 feet tall and all the dresses i tried on are either too short, or look too "slutty"...
thank you for giving me the option to buy something that covers my butt!

It was love at first sight with the dress on the right = )

I ordered a 2nd dress too, because there was 30% off the 2nd dress. I'll post another comment here when they come, letting ya'll know how I feel about quality, customer service, etc.

So far, customer service is GREAT! Stay tuned...

Thanks, C Jane! I've been agonizing over what to wear to a wedding in Texas this spring. Apparently there are strict 'rules' in this little corner of the world about what one wears to a day vs. evening wedding...and my little black dress was not gonna cut it. (HOW in the world could a LBD ever be a faux pas? You've got me...) These rules still mystify me, but I was QUITE excited for a reason to order a nice, ladylike floral dress :)

my experience with eShakti has been mixed: order 2 dresses that did not arrive on time. The were also too big and one was damaged (probably by customs opening box). The fabric, style and construction was amazing.

I couldn't reach eShakti for days and didn't get a full refund (they didn't refund postage)and they said they would give a gift certificate for my trouble (they just re-issued the GC I already had). I am giving them a second chance because the clothing was that beautiful and inexpensive.

We shall see....

These are beautiful dresses. I've been looking for a dress like this on http://www.gatheringguide.com for the last week. I'm looking to find something like that in person so I can see what fits me, I'm a pretty hard fit.
