... that canvas behind your head in the duet picture?

i get comments on this artwork all the time.
it was done by my talented sister-in-law lisa
made with homemade gold paper,
wrapping paper
and vintage birds from a book
my other sister-in-law lindsay
bought for me at an old bookstore.

best of all?
lisa tells you how to create it yourself
follow her directions here.

I think this is one of the best pictures in the history of best pictures. I love how it looks like the Chief is really playing and looking up at you like only a master performer could. So cute.

That's an awesome tutorial, and I love that photo. That's definitely a classic.

Can I ask...Where did Simy get her shirt? It's A-dorable.

This is my new weekend project!

I wish I could play the piano, but I'm sure my musical talents are about as advanced as the baby's. Tee hee.

I wonder what you were singing?

Courtney.. I just wanted to say that I think you and your sisters are the coolest, and I am thankful for the blog world, because without it I would never have gotten to "know" your wonderful family that inspires me everyday to live my best, and I hope that you keep writing, because you are so gifted at it. God Bless!! Oh and congratulations on your upcoming baby.. my husband and I have been trying, and it is hard to wonder when... but your story gives me hope!! :)

That canvas is AMAZING! Speaking of artwork i just noticed a painting in the background of Nie's Saturday is a special day post. Could you have her post an upclose of that or put one on this blog. Whose the artist? It looks like a painting of her family in a diner. I already LOVE it, but would LOVE to see it up close.
