It hurts my heart to think that someone has to worry about finding a divorce attorney. My divorce was just final a couple weeks ago. I don't know if that person will read this comment but after what I went through I want to do anything in my power to help others. So the only way I can think to help is to give a couple words of advice. #1. Even if someone tells you the attorney is good, still do your own homework on the attorney. My attorney even provided me with names and contact info of other clients and had me ask them how they thought he did and any other questions I might have for them. He also asked me if I would be ok with any future clients of his calling me. I said yes! #2. Although divorce is terrible, heart breaking and ZERO fun and you want to get it over with, don't rush it. My attorney told me right off the bat that it's better to get it done right, then get it done quick. #3. Talk to someone. I have a couple friends who know how I feel and it made such a difference to release my heart and mind to them. Family is amazing and I owe so much to myown for all the support & love they have given me. But they don't know how I feel (and I'm grateful they don't).
I don't know if this will help anyone but I hope it will. My prayers go out to anyone having to go though such a difficult time.
